iPhoto '09, an application for photographers glorious mess
I was really enjoying my new iPhoto program, a part of iLife '09 I bought for $ 99 CAD at my local Apple dealer.
Like most people, I have thousands of photos of different unorganized equipment, cameras and file systems over the years. They move from one disk to another, changes its name, fell for the web and point your My Pictures folder.
Imports baseline was a breeze, a click on "Import type library function" of most programs from Apple. The photos are arranged in a nice graphical format. You can resize the image in the gallery and easily expand to view full-size and back.
The role of faces is one of my favorites. It uses facial recognition software redevelopment. Start typing the name of the subject in the photo and the program will scan the rest of your image and suggest alternatives if the face appears. The more you examples of this face, the more precise selections. This is not foolproof but it is strong enough accurate, and achieved accurately scan and photos of the children in my group over the years, in childhood.
Sharing is easy, with one click interface for e-mail, Flickr and Facebook. Just select the photos you want to send and choose the size you want to send photos, iPhoto does the rest of the work. Create Facebook and Flickr album for lots up the whole album for the account that was assigned.
You can make or hiding files, sorting, title and interest rates. You can add location data keywords and descriptions. You can send it to iWeb iDVD, or simply burn them to CD. You can also correct red-eye and the construction of maps, calendars and other memorabilia, and the direct order of the program.
My only complaint is the lack dual capacity Finder. Although it is quite easy for me to sort photos by date and click Delete duplicate files and the hand looks like it could be even more easy, given the Streng
Sat remainder of the program. But overall, I love my Apple iPhoto '09, and if you are a photographer or a collector Shadow, I love it too.
